Spring Session "Skipped" Tuesdays
We will be not be meeting for two Tuesdays during spring session, 4/8 (spring break) and 5/27 (Vancouver East show dress week). We will have 10 class days, including the class day on our Showcase day, 6/10.
Due to our change in location this session, these "skipped" dates have changed from what was originally posted.

First Class Day of Spring Session
Tuesday, March 25th is the first class day of Journey's Vancouver East spring session. Class begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM.
We are meeting at Cascade Park Baptist Church this session, 1201 SE 136th Avenue. We will start in the main building sanctuary with our student parent meeting.
After kids are released to class we will have a meeting with parents going over auditions and show involvement. If you are new to Journey or new to show participation you will find this meeting extremely helpful and it will eliminate many questions and bumps along the way!
The second meeting will be about 30 minutes. Those with questions or who would like to linger may do so until class time is over.
Please remember to bring a signed Medical Release form to the class. (here is a link to the form - Medical Release)
Auditions for Vancouver East's spring show, Grimm Fairy Tales, are Friday, March 28th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Cascade Park Baptist Church. Students enrolled in a spring class and who are 8 - 18 years old are eligible to audition.

Letter Writing Contest ~ you can still participate!
Hey Journey Families,
It's not too late to join in our Letter Writing Campaign! We have fabulous prizes for everyone whose letters bring in $25 or more! The donation deadline is April 15th.
Since tuition, ticket sales and production fees do not cover the full costs of our program, we hold an annual Letter Writing Campaign to help make up the difference. We are so thankful for each family who joins with us in this effort!

Last Class Day and Showcase 3/18!
Tuesday 3/18 is our last class and showcase.
Classes are at the regular time, 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Showcase is at 7:00. We begin seating at about 6:50.
Students can purchase pizza, to eat at our break, for $4.00 which includes two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a bottle of water. If you want to order pizza, please arrive a little early and go directly to the gym snack window to order. If you do not want to order pizza, please pack a snack/dinner to eat before showcase.

Location Change
This spring Vancouver East classes, auditions and show rehearsals will be moving to Cascade Park Baptist Church at 1201 SE 136th Avenue in Vancouver.
Lifepoint is growing and they have discovered they need to reduce the number of outside groups using the building to accommodate functions of the church. We have enjoyed our lengthy stay at Lifepoint and appreciate their great hospitality!
